I am Dr. Arthur Jochems, a senior data scientist, AI engineer, and the founder of Modus Data. For over a decade, I have operated at the intersection of advanced deep learning architectures and production-level software engineering.

Academic Rigor Meets Enterprise Execution

My background bridges deep academic research and high-stakes corporate environments. After completing my PhD and working as a postdoctoral researcher in multimodal oncology learning—analyzing complex, messy layers of clinical trial imagery, radiomics, and patient data—I realized my true passion lay in building practical, industrial-grade systems.

I transitioned into full-time freelance consulting to give companies direct access to elite, specialized AI execution without the agency overhead.

When I’m not configuring GPU workloads or optimizing embedding pipelines, you’ll usually find me building custom PC hardware or working out with heavy kettlebells in my home gym.
